This adapter is very useful if you link your child bicycle to a trailgator.
This system moves the brake casing end to allow the installation of an attach system on the child bicycle frame. Child bicycles are rarely equipped of V-brakes or other roller brakes. Cantilever is the most installed system on child bicycles and this is why this accessory is very recommended.
