This bicycle colour GPS (Global Position System) Edge 705 from GARMIN is the essential accessory for cyclists. This bicycle GPS/computer has all the functions to get the best from your rides. It is compact and easy to use, thanks to the Click Stick command which makes the screen navigation easier. This bicycle GPS allows you to get data from your trainings, and also map details. With its colour screen and its training functions, this GPS is very pleasant.

Easy to transport thanks to its only 105 g it will help you find your way anywhere. This bicycle GPS integrated map, and the micro SD card reader allow to add map details and to stock your training data, your routes and your recorded races. Insert a preloaded micro SD card with detailed maps MapSource® City Navigator® and consult the detailed instructions on the anti lens colour screen while you are riding. It is also possible to add topographical maps for your out road trips. The bicycle GPS Edge 705 is very easily interlocked on a support fixed on the handlebar in order to guide you until your goal.

The bicycle GPS Edge 705 automatically measures speed, distance, trip time and burnt calories. Like the other product from the GARMIN range, the Virtual Partner® function (virtual training partner) allows you to measure yourself to a virtual cyclist, with a pre defined speed and distance.

The essential difference between this model and Edge 605 model is the heart frequency function. This function allows to have instantly your heart rhythm and to control its training effort with the wireless heart frequency monitor (ANT+Sport from Garmin).
With the rhytmn function, you also get your push-pull rhythm to compare to the heart frequency.

The bicycle colour GPS Edge 705 is at the same time a personnel trainer and a bicycle computer with the GARMIN TRAINING CENTER software which can be downloaded on GARMIN website

• The Parcours function allows you to compare yourself to a recorded training, in order to compare past and actual performances on a same route.
• The Auto Pause® function temporarily stops the chronometer if you slow down or if the speed goes down a pre defined speed, or if you stop. The chronometer automatically restarts when you accelerate, it allows you to stay concentrated on your race.
• The auto Lap function® automatically loads a new route every time you pass to a given point or if you travel a given distance.

The given USB connection cable allows you at the end of the day to transfer your data to your computer and proceed to an analysis or share them with the cyclists and outside sports amateurs international network on Garmin Connect® totally dedicated to data share and analysis.

The Edge 705 can be associated to a wireless peripheral watt meter(ANT+Sport from Garmin) (compatible system list coming soon on Garmin site) to display the produced energy (in watt) during your ride. The energy spent is the reflect of the route or the training difficulty and will allow you to train intelligently. Take the advantage looking at the produced energy and the Edge 705 data on the screen, and stock the informations to analyse you training later.
